We’ll use this category rather than a separate changelog site so that feedback and discussion happen right next to the announcement — instead of scattered across email replies and support tickets.
What to expect here
Release notes — posted every time we ship something meaningful. We’ll describe what changed, why, and what to watch out for if you’re upgrading.
Roadmap previews — periodic posts about what’s coming next. These aren’t promises, but they’re not vague either. We’ll tell you roughly what quarter we’re targeting and what problem we’re solving.
Beta opportunities — when we’re testing new features with a smaller group first, we’ll post here. Community members get first access.
How this is different from Feature Requests
This category flows one direction — from Totem to you. The Feature Requests category flows the other way. If something we post here prompts a feature idea, take it over there.
A note on the roadmap
Totem is early. The roadmap will change. When it does, we’ll say so and explain why — we’d rather tell you “we shifted priorities because X” than quietly drop something and hope nobody noticed.
If there’s something you’re counting on and you don’t see it here, post in Feature Requests. That’s the most direct line to influencing what we build next.
